We value positive relationships with parents and carers to help develop better social and emotional skills in children. We know that when children are engaged with their learning, they attend school more regularly, leading to better long term outcomes.
For parenting and counselling services, visit the Family Support page, and for direction and clarity on regulations, processes and procedures at our school, read the Sydney Catholic School policies.
The parent forum is a group of volunteer parents who join together to promote a sense of community, and support the school in helping to meet the educational needs of the children. The parent forum at St Joachim’s Catholic Primary School Lidcombe hold meetings each term and are responsible for facilitating stalls for Mother’s and Father’s Day, fundraising and many other exciting events. Members of the St Joachim’s leadership team also collaborate closely with the parent forum committee to ensure and strengthen the partnership between school and home.
